Certified GHG Professional Training Course
About the training
Organisations worldwide are taking steps to manage their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, arising from their direct operations and value chains, in order to mitigate their environmental impact. It is widely recognised that organisations proficient in measuring and managing their GHG footprints are better equipped to navigate stakeholder expectations and emerging regulations, such as: compliance with customer requirements, carbon emission regulations, climate reporting standards; embarking on decarbonisation initiatives; improvement in ESG ratings; fulfilling policy commitments; enhancing brand reputation; and contributing to sustainable development.
This Certified GHG Professional Training Course is tailored to equip participants with the necessary skills to measure, monitor, manage, verify, and report GHG emissions across an organisation’s operations and its value chain. The course offers a comprehensive, step-by-step guide to calculating, verifying, and reporting Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 GHG emissions, in line with the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard. It also incorporates references to pertinent ISO Standards (ISO 14064-1 and ISO 14064-3).
Developed and delivered by experts in GHG measurement, reporting, verification, and validation, the course integrates learning through real-life case studies and practical examples.
