ISSB Standards Training Course
ABOUT THE TRAINING
In recent years, there has been a growing stakeholder expectation from companies to actively address adverse human rights impacts in their business operations. Customers, investors, and regulatory bodies are increasingly demanding that companies disclose how they assess and address human rights concerns across their operations and supply chains.
This trend has coincided with the increasing implementation of regulations mandating Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD). A central component of HRDD is the Human Rights Impact Assessment (HRIA), which enables companies to comprehensively identify and assess both potential and actual adverse human rights impacts within their operations and throughout their value chain.
The Certified Human Rights Impact Assessment Professional Training Course is designed for sustainability professionals across all industries who wish to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively conduct an HRIA. Through this course, you will learn a step-by-step approach to conduct an HRIA, which includes planning, scoping, data collection, impact assessment and mitigation, and reporting.
