Win Myint Aung is a director and head of sustainability of CMHL which is the leading retail operator in Myanmar. CMHL is also one of the top ranked companies on transparency and corporate governance reports in the recent years. As the sustainability leader, CMHL is actively involved in promoting the universally accepted ethical standards – regulatory compliance, anti-corruption, prevention of child-labour and gender equality – internally and externally. Since 2014, CMHL has been actively campaigning the reduction on usage of plastic bags at their City Mart outlets nationwide.

He has a wide range of commercial and leadership experiences in HR, Corporate Affairs and business development within FMCG and pharmaceutical industries since 2000. Before joining CMHL, he worked for DKSH group, British American Tobacco and Friesland Campina.

Win Myint Aung holds an MBA degree (University of Yangon) and a Master of Science degree (London School of Economics). He is also a doctoral candidate with Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand.
