Roshan Rajadurai counts over 36 years of experience in the plantation sector both in the Plantations and at Corporate level and currently is the Managing Director of Kelani Valley, Talawakelle and Horana Plantations of Hayleys PLC., consisting of 60 Tea/Rubber estates and 51 factories employing 24,000 workers, being the largest plantation group in Sri Lanka

Roshan has a B.Sc. In Plantation Management, M.Sc in Agriculture and Plantation Crops, an MBA from the Post Graduate Institute of Agriculture and a D.Sc.. He was also the Chairman of the Planters’ Association of Ceylon and was/is a member of the Sri Lanka Tea Board, Rubber Research Board, Tea Research Institute, Tea Council and the Tea Small Holdings Development Authority of Sri Lanka
