More than 26 years of experience of working in numerous profiles across Tata Steel – started as a Trainee in the Information Technology Services Department. After working for 10 years in Information Technology, took a sabbatical to complete one year Post Graduate Diploma in Executive Management from XLRI in 2002. Joined back Tata Steel in a Corporate Function as Executive Assistant to the then Dy Managing Director of Tata Steel. Have had the privilege to work as Executive Officer to ex-Managing Director of Tata Steel. During this period, was actively involved in preparation and review of annual business plan and formulation of long term Strategy as well as the business risk assessment. In 2012 took over the challenging assignment of Chief Infrastructure Planning & Development for Tata Steel Plant in Jamshedpur and during this tenure made many visible changes inside the Steel Works at Jamshedpur. The green cover inside Steel Works improved to more than double in a span of 4 years.
Working in current role of Chief of Corporate Sustainability, Tata Steel India since July’ 2016.
