Lise is a Sustainable Finance Engagement Manager at WWF where she engages finance sector stakeholders in Asia on sustainable investment and conducts research and capacity building on ESG integration. Previously, Lise headed up strategy at South Africa based corporate sustainability consultancy GCX, where she developed long term strategic roadmaps for listed clients. She has been resident energy and sustainability writer at South African financial publication Financial Mail, worked on sustainable investment projects in the UK and South Africa – including authoring ShareAction’s Green Light Report on the intersection between climate change and pension funds – and publishing research on Responsible Investment in a peer-reviewed journal. Lise holds a BComm Economics honours degree from the University of Cape Town and a MSc in Environmental Economics from the London School of Economics.
