Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards 2019 Finalists

Eighty organisations from 13 countries have progressed to the final round of the 2019 Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA). An independent panel of judges assessed the entries to shortlist the finalists.Winners will be declared at an exclusive gala dinner eventin Singapore on 6 March 2020.

ASRA is the most prestigious recognition for sustainability reporting and integrated reporting in the region. A non-profit initiative, ASRA’s mission is to inspire all companies to adopt sustainability reporting.

The 2019Awards will be given in 19 categories covering various aspects of reporting. Two new categories,Asia’s Best Sustainability Report (Public Sector) and Asia’s Best Integrated Report (First Time), have been included this year.

A new awards system starting with the 2019 ASRA empowers the judging panel to choose up to three winners for each category: Gold, Silver and Bronze.

A statement from the ASRA Secretariat said, “ASRA continues to see a rising number of entries each year with an ever-increasing level of competition. Entries to the 2019 ASRA show a continuing trend of improvement inreporting quality overall.”

About the Awards

The Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA), a non-profit initiative, recognise and honour sustainability reporting leaders in Asia. ASRA’s mission is to inspire all organisations to adopt sustainability reporting to provide meaningful information to stakeholders. The Awards are open to all types and sizes of private, public and non-profit organisations in all sectors who produce a sustainability report or an integrated report in Asia. An independent panel of distinguished judges evaluates the entries to select the winners.
