Abhishek is Head of Sustainability at Arvind Limited and is leading various Sustainability initiatives of the group. He is devising the strategy to reduce the Energy, Water & Chemical footprint of the organization and leading several innovative practices in the textile manufacturing industry. Prior to this position he has worked in the Sustainability & Environmental Consulting domain for more than ten years. He has helped several large corporates to define the Sustainability Strategy and assisted in Implementation of various renewable energy and energy efficiency initiatives. In previous roles, he also worked with a Swiss not-for-profit, and helped them define their Cities program for Sustainable Development of large cities in Developing countries. Based out of India, Abhishek holds Masters degree in Environment & Sustainability management from NITIE, Mumbai.
