Sheng’s portfolio mainly involves analyzing Chinese companies’ performance in managing risks & opportunities related to CSR issues. He has represented EcoVadis at an European Commission roundtable on Supply Chain Intellectual Property issues in Brussels, and also at a conference targeting Telecommunications industry on new CSR related risks & opportunities. Beyond his main work in analyzing companies, he is also the lead data specialist at EcoVadis – working through aggregated evaluation data EcoVadis generates from more than 12,000 evaluations per year. In 2017, Sheng’s data analysis led to EcoVadis inaugural Global CSR Risk & Performance Index, possibly the first global index to shed light on both SMEs & large companies’ (>20,000 companies) performance across years.
