Rajesh, managing director and managing consultant of CSRWorks International, leads our international team of highly experienced sustainability consultants and trainers. Deeply passionate about sustainability, Rajesh specialises in practical sustainability strategy, sustainability reporting, integrated reporting, stakeholder engagement, supply chain and training.
Rajesh has over 20 years of experience in sustainability covering wide range of industries across Asia. His expertise lies in developing sustainability strategies for competitive advantage. In Singapore, his clients include several reputed companies listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) – both large and SMEs.
His sustainability strategies have helped clients to feature on global rankings and indices and win awards. Many of his clients have constantly performed well on sustainability indices such as the Corporate Knights Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations index, the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) and the CDP, just to name a few.
Over the years, Rajesh has trained and mentored hundreds of aspiring as well as experienced individuals across the region in different aspects of sustainability. He is a Certified GRI Trainer for the Certified GRI Standards Training Course offered by CSRWorks in Singapore as GRI’s Certified Training Partner. He is also the lead trainer for our training courses that we offer as the International Integrated Reporting Council’s (IIRC) approved Training Partner for nine markets including Singapore.
He is the brain behind the hugely popular Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA), the most inspiring recognition for excellence in sustainability reporting. Asia Sustainability Reporting Summit, the region’s pioneer conference on sustainability reporting is conceived, designed and curated by him.
Rajesh is the editorial director for Sustainability Reporting – Learn from Asia’s Best, an annual publication featuring Asia’s best sustainability reports. He has authored a book on supply chain responsibility (2005) and co-authored two books on sustainability case studies (2010, 2011).
In his off time, Rajesh is an avid tennis player and a few hands of bridge always excite him.
Rajesh is a Board Member at the British Club Singapore.
He is also a member of the SingHealth Centralised Institutional Research Board (CIRB), the central ethics review board within SingHealth to protect the rights and welfare of human subjects involved in biomedical and behavioural research activities. It is responsible for approving, monitoring and reviewing biomedical and behavioural research involving humans.
